Amsterdam’s Food Guide For Vegetarians

The Dutch may be known for their love of hearty food (which invariably involves a lot of meat), but that doesn’t mean that vegetarians and vegans need go hungry in the city. Far from it – with an ever-increasing choice of dedicated vegetarian, vegan and organic restaurants and cafes popping up in every neighbourhood, as well as plenty of other establishments catering to non-meat eaters with a broad selection of veggie options, vegetarian and vegan diners will never struggle to find a delicious meal. This salad is not just a pile of soggy lettuce, but a hearty meal that often includes beans, guacamole, quinoa, bulghur, tofu and other ingredients.
